Alloy Enterprises
Alloy Enterprises uses laminate object manufacturing to develop complex aluminum parts. During my time at Alloy, I designed critical system level components for the machinery involved in their proprietary manufacturing process.
One of the machines in the process involves a robotic arm on an assembly line. The arm moves aluminum via a suction mechanism, which I redesigned for a 25% increase in efficiency
Another machine on the production floor weighs upwards of 30,000 lbs and the concrete floors beneath it required protection.
